I agree completely that it is not new. I am only seeing now how deeply ingrained it is for people who probably had no conscious awareness of it.

And yes, I have mostly chosen to hone in on those supportive voices that lift my spirits and bring moments of hope. It's a beautiful thing to see the Jewish community come together in support of one another.
