I actually didn't know you had mentioned me but read your story with interest. You raise some really, really complex matters.

There are so many questions when it comes to non-pregnant parent. I know a couple who really successfully negotiated since before conception. The woman wanted to pursue her passions and her career in writing, while the man, who was older, wanted to raise the child. It worked perfectly. But, for most there are a million variables. In the long run, as you say, it has to be down to the one who foresees being the main bearer.
