Thanks, Hogan. You're right. I know that there are people who stand firmly with Israel but I have had friends who do still ask me if my family is leaving Israel because of the situation, as if they have somewhere else to go or would leave. The missing part of that understanding is that it simply isn't a colonialist project, it's their home and they don't have another.
