Thanks Janet.

My dad was a development economist, working with the World Bank and other organisations usually in collaboration with, or commissioned by the European Commission and/or the World Bank.

He often got to work directly with local farmers, helping to improve their turnovers. In Tanzania, he worked with cashew farmers and we always had sacks of cashews in the garage, which my sister and I would always be going and helping ourselves to. It certainly was a different from average life, that's for sure.

Thanks so much for reading :)
