The one thing that really aggravates me is changing my British spelling to American. If a publication doesn't state that its a requirement then it shouldn't be changed. I know which editors do it, and which publications they edit for, so I have learned when to expect it and to be prepared. I will go back and change it all again, but it's a boring waste of time.
