My ex partner became so adept at snooping into my life that I felt constantly watched, and I remember thinking how the fact that I never had the inclination to snoop into his emails and messages meant that he was trustworthy whereas I clearly wasn’t, although I knew, despite this, that I had absolutely no capability of ever cheating on a partner. He had put a key logger and a software that sent screenshots from my laptop to his phone every twenty minutes, as I found out from sending my laptop to a computer specialist. Of course, the real problem was that the relationship was a total disaster and I was extremely unhappy and yet was completely trapped by his emotional abuse, and didn’t know how to find my way out.
