This is beautifully written, Ticapo. I am generally described as happy-go-lucky and easy to get along with, but I have also been told I have a ruthlessness to me, which I don't deny. I can't imagine what it must be to go through these stages of dementia. I can only hope it spares me so I don't need to consider how I might appear to others.
