This is exactly what seems to be at the root of every fucked up situation in our society. I don't just mean regarding transgender issues but everything. Why have we devolved so far rather than evolved?

Meanwhile, on the trans issues specifically, I send hugs to all who needs them. I feel at a loss of what to say. I watched my daughters go through secondary school and many of their friends went through numerous gender identities. I remembered how much of a stigma it was even for anyone to come out as gay/lesbian when we were kids, and I felt gratitude that these kids had the space to explore. But ideologies dictate everything, and it feels as if we're going back to some dark times.
