This is interesting. It's not something I have really considered before but certainly, if I find something triggering, I can always choose to stop reading it (or watching or whatever). When it comes to things like PTSD, I can see that it's important not to live in total avoidance but to start to face those triggering things in small doses. It worked for me when I experienced major anxiety but then I am only an expert of my own experience and am not qualified in the slightest to advise anyone else.
