This is such a lovely philosophy to have and it's wonderful seeing writers who come forward simply with the message that writing for the love of it is all that is required.

I talk to people regularly who aren't paying members, saying that they want to see that they can succeed here first. Sadly, I find that attitude back to front. First and foremost it's about the community and the love of connection through writing. That's really difficult to cultivate without reading too. There has to be a balance with everything, but the love for it has to come first.
