This is such an insightful piece. So many more people are being diagnosed as ASD these days that it has thankfully become more widely understood that those with autism are not abnormal or lacking in empathy. I still don't think that there's enough support for the young adults as they leave school and head to university, or out into the world. But, hopefully, this will also be addressed in time.
