This was so lovely, Egor. Of course, we've experienced our own exodus of migrant workers following Brexit. Vegetables and fruits were left rotting in the field, because no one here wants to go out in all weathers for the kind of low wages being paid. My friend in Cornwall organised a group to go and harvest food for community consumption because otherwise it would just go to waste, and the farmers were happy to allow them. But it was just crazy. Our economy and society was so much better off when we were part of Europe and the borders and work situation was open.
