What a perfect analogy.

After I threw the pen away, I finished sewing my son’s pillow. I looked at the sewing kit and realized that by quitting marijuana, I’ve stitched together the pieces of my life. Some seams are still fragile — maybe there are even holes to mend. And mend them I must, if I’m to maintain my sobriety.
