What a terrifying experience! I am so glad your family, your house, and none of your animals were harmed.

I have a friend who lost her home in wildfires in California a few years ago. It was an awful experience for her, not to mention she was diagnosed with breast cancer about ten days later while displaced and sleeping on a friend's couch. The things we can endure when life throws these things our way. (She did receive treatment, is fully healed, and living in another part of Cali next to a lake now)
