What an amazing story!
My dad and his wife adopted a male stray who was hanging around a restaurant in Bucharest and being treated awfully. Soon after going to live with them, he fathered some kittens. My dad has no idea what happened to the mother of the kittens but the male cat brought all of them into the house one day and so they could be cared for. He was a very good dad.
