What an excellent piece. As someone who has been insecure about the way I look since adolescence, I wholly relate. My nose has always been a source of insecurity, and yet when I look back at photos from the past, even as recent as the last decade, I see someone attractive. I just couldn't see it then, and can't see it in myself now, though who knows what I'll think looking back ten years from now!
