What I am finding is that even amongst the very intelligent there is a mental block that goes up against condemning the evils for what they are. With the hostage rescue there is still a reluctance among these people to call out the very fact that these hostages were being held somewhere clearly known to Hamas, among the civilian population, and state the obvious - that they simply could return them and avoid more bloodshed.
