Words of wisdom here. I see how much my aunt and my dad struggle to remember to use pronouns that don't come naturally to them when talking about some of my daughters' friends, but the fact is that they try. Actually, my aunt gets names wrong all the time - even birth names - so there's little hope when it comes to pronoun changes 😁
