Wow, really? My other daughter - the one for whom the dress was for and who isn't in any of the photos - looks much more like me. As for the dress, you can't imagine how proud I was of my achievements. I mean, people were spending hundreds of £s on their kids' dresses, which really was out of the question for me. But I found the most beautiful, pure silk, dark green second-hand dress for £28 and then we took it to a local seamstress who adjusted it and made some design changes as requested by my daughter, and she looked utterly stunning in it. Honestly, that was a proud mama moment if ever I've had one.
