Yes, that's a contentious issue if ever I saw one. Their attitudes to us non-observant types don't really bother me but the role the ultra-orthodox attitude has taken in politics is proving disastrous for the Jewish people. This hanging onto religious doctrine and the fear of god is undermining us all as a people.
