Do We Now Have Closure? — A Follow-Up to the Coffee Times Incident

Following an uncomfortable few days after the incident of the publishing of an article that upset the community, Winston, the owner of Coffee Times, has published a brief explanation and apology.

To be quite honest, I didn’t especially want to revisit this topic. I had questioned myself over the previous article I had published about it since I really don’t like to get involved in drama. However, I felt it was important, at the very least, to request an apology for something that was, whether a (very careless) mistake or not, very wrong.

That’s why I decided to go ahead and publish. It was not to create division but to stand up for the need for each and every writer, editor, and publisher in the online space to take responsibility for the decisions we make.
